A New Post 27 BLOG Has Been Created!

After a year or more of neglect, Post 27 has generated a new Blog with a New Look! 

We are also creating a new WebPage that will link to this Blog. You might ask why this is important, and what is it supposed to gain for the Post. The answer is simple, we hope to keep more of our members aware of the things we do and who we hope to help by doing these things. 

Please add your name and follow this Blog. We promise to add new and interesting material and information on a weekly basis. 

Our experience with our 160+ current members is that 3/4ths of our members do not attend meetings even though we are now conducting "Blended Meetings." A Blended Meeting is a meeting where we combine our Live (in-person) meeting with a Virtual (on-line) meeting over the internet. If you can't actually attend, you have the option of viewing and participating in the meeting over the internet. 

For your information, Post 27 is beginning our "Second Century of Service to the Veterans in Ocala." We've been in Ocala as a Chartered American Legion Post for 100 Years. We received our official Charter from the State of Florida American Legion Department on the first day of October in 1920.
